What it does
Augmented reality (AR) overlays digital objects on the live camera view. In decoration, you can place a virtual sofa, lamp or artwork in your own room, walk around it, and see its size and colour in context.
Good for
- Size and scale: will the table fit, and does it leave enough space to walk?
- Style: does a piece suit the room's other furniture?
- Placement: testing a few positions without moving anything heavy.
Limits
- Colours on screen can differ from real materials — always check a physical sample.
- Lighting in the preview is only an estimate.
- Accuracy depends on the phone and on good light in the room.
